Enjoy a full day tour to the Watamu Marine Park and Sardegna. Ride on the glass bottom boat and stop for snorkeling to enjoy the wonders of the Indian Ocean. Have BBQ lunch on the beach (lobster, shrimp, fish, rice, beverage) and relax on the white sand stretches.

Departure from the hotel at 08:30am to arrive at the dock at 9.00am. Enjoy a sea safari to discover the wonders of the Indian Ocean on a comfortable glass bottom boat ride in the crystal clear waters of Mayungu, an area between the coast and the first Kenyan coral reef. Watamu Marine National Park, established in 1968, is home to coral gardens and over 600 species of fish and other sea creatures which makes it a wonderful place for snorkelling. This excursion conjures up a romantic evening on board an Arab dhow. Departs the quay side whilst guests sip sundowners and enjoy nibbling appetisers as they sail to Tudor creek. The evening on-board the Arab dhow includes a delightful meal prepared by the chefs from the Tamarind Restaurant and a live band, playing popular tunes for dancing under the canopy of stars. Return to the hotel around midnight.

The Tamarind Dhows "Nawalilkher" and “Babulkher”  are authentic ocean going jahazis (traditional Arab sailing boats), formerly used for cargo trading along the Kenyan Coast and to the Arab States.  The Dhows have been completely refurbished as floating restaurants, without losing any of the traditional aspects of the original Dhow.  They are now moored at the Mombasa Tamarind jetty.

The dinner cruise commencing at 6.30 pm, begins with a welcome "Dawa" cocktail as the Dhow sails smoothly towards Fort Jesus.  The twinkling lights of Mombasa and the starlit skies provide idyllic surroundings for a delicious seafood dinner meticulously prepared in Swahili style on the deck in front of the guests.  The resident band on board offers a wide choice of dance music, from the latest hits to the golden oldies as the Dhow gently glides back to the Tamarind Jetty by 10.30 pm.

Relax under the stars and lights of Mombasa on this idyllic cruise with a delicious seafood dinner on board. The dinner is prepared in a Swahili style whilst guests enjoy the resident band on board. The band offers modern songs and golden oldies as the Dhow gently sails back to the Jetty.

The Dhow Dinner Cruise starts at 6.30pm, enjoy a welcome "Dawa" cocktail as the Dhow sets sail towards Fort Jesus.
Your evening begins as soon as you step off the gangplank. You will be greeted by traditionally-dressed waiters and waitresses who show you to your table, and serves you with a house cocktail made with vodka, lime, honey, sugar and crushed ice. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available. The live band will start playing as soon as the dhow departs from the jetty and many guests start dancing straight away.

The cruise will continue around the Tudor Creek with fine view of Mombasa's Old Town and Fort Jesus. The dhow will moor in a sheltered bay in preparation for dinner. The aroma of grilled lobster and steak will fill the air as the chefs prepare a four course gourmet meal. As your meal draws to a close, the waiters serve aromatic Arabica coffee from a traditional Arab brass pot - the Kahawa Pot. The evening trip on the dhow is an excellent romantic spot for newly-weds, and those wishing to propose, before returning to the start point.
